The survey was sent to people who had attended a Life in the Spirit Seminar where they experienced the release of the Holy Spirit. They were also attending Charismatic prayer meetings. The questions focused on their spiritual life BEFORE and AFTER the release of the Holy Spirit. Of the 100 people who responded, the survey showed the following results:
1. The average time spent in the Charismatic Renewal was 10 years.
2. They were parishioners in 15 churches in many different towns throughout the
Archdiocese of Hartford:

Of those who answered YES, the time spent in the ministries follows:
26% did not enter time spent
40% spent 1-3 hours per week
16% spent 5-10 hours per week
All participants experienced a significant change in their spiritual growth though prayer, the sacraments, reading the Bible and Spiritual books, and through service to their parishes. The Life in the Spirit Seminar and the Charismatic Renewal through the power of the Holy Spirit help strengthen the spiritual growth of individual Catholics.
